World of Coffee, 2024 - Copenhagen, DENMARK

I had the incredible opportunity to attend the World of Coffee event in Copenhagen, and I'm still excited! The event held at the Bella Center from June 27-29, 2024, was a true celebration of the global coffee community, uniting coffee enthusiasts, industry professionals, and innovators from around the world.

The event showcased, among others,  the 2024 World Latte Art, World Coffee in Good Spirits, and World Coffee Roasting Championships. World of Coffee is Europe's premier coffee gathering and one of the most prestigious coffee events globally. It brings together thousands of coffee professionals and enthusiasts for three days to celebrate specialty coffee. Organized by the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE), this event represents the interests of its 3,000 members worldwide, fostering connections within the specialty coffee industry.

What stood out most was the inclusivity and passion of everyone involved. Farmers and buyers exhibited side by side, creating a collaborative atmosphere, the World Latte Art Championship, and thought-provoking discussions on sustainability and innovation at Green Coffee Connect. Such collaboration is essential as we navigate new trends and challenges in coffee production and consumption.

I left feeling inspired and eager to contribute to the ongoing evolution of the coffee world. And Copenhagen provided the perfect backdrop for this celebration of coffee culture!

Reflecting on the decision to bring World of Coffee to Denmark in 2024, SCA CEO Yannis Apostolopoulos stated:
"In 2024, Europe's premier coffee trade show will occur in Copenhagen, Denmark's vibrant capital. Known for its leadership in culture, quality of life, sustainability, and the arts, Copenhagen is also celebrated for its sophisticated specialty coffee scene. The city stands out for its forward-thinking approach to business, technology, design, and trade, making it the ideal location for this event."
