IBURU Coffee Team participated in a 6-month incubation program hosted by the UNLEASH Lab between September 2020 to March 2021. The program accelerates high-impact ideas and encourages collaboration opportunities to solve some of the current global challenges facing humanity and the planet.
IBURU focused on SDG 13, Climate Action, a vital part of our mission. Together, we aspire to transform the rural landscape into a productive agricultural community that preserves forests alongside sustainable sources of livelihood.
Iburu emerged as one of the top five finalists from an initial 50 teams awarded by the Hempel Foundation.
